Being associated with ‘Anupamaa’ would definitely be a treasured part of my career: Apurva Agnihotri

Apurva Agnihotri recently donned the hat of a super cool, optimistic, funny and obsessed with his hair Dr. Advait in Rajan Shahi’s popular TV show “Anupamaa”. The actor’s entry added a lot of positive drama to the show and in a way helped every on-screen character untangle their miseries. The actor, who had earlier worked with the ace producer in “Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin” and “Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai”, is all praise for him and called him an incredible human being.

“Rajan and I go back to our ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’ days when he used to direct us. Meeting him, talking to him, working with him made me feel like we were stuck in a time loop as Rajan is still the most amazing, awesome, incredible human being that he was and his DKP (Director’s Kut Productions) unit is the living proof of it, and all thanks to all of those wonderful people I had the time of my life,” he said.

“My experience of working in ‘Anupamaa’ was beyond incredible as I yet again got to work with my favourite people Rajan, director Romesh Kalra, Sudhanshu (Pandey), Paras (Kalnawat), Madalsa (Sharma), Anagha (Bhosale) and Tassnim (Sheikh), and of course the splendid ensemble cast. Being associated with ‘Anupamaa’ would definitely be a treasured part of my career as I am a huge fan of the writing of the show and bow down to the creative geniuses who are writing it. So all and all truely blessed to have done this,” he added.

Was it difficult to say goodbye? “It was really difficult because in a very short time we all became really close and had a lot of fun while shooting and also during our time off. Since mine was an outdoor track and we were all away from home and our families, we all kind of stuck together and made the outdoor as eased out as possible for one another,” Apurva signed off.
