At the beginning of the episode, Rishi tells Neelam that it is ok if Lakshmi does not return back. Neelam says they need her. Rishi says they have to overcome this fear of horoscope. He says Pandit ji scares them unnecessarily. Neelam says whatever he has said so far has come true. Rishi says nothing happened to him today even though he warned them. He said they should let Lakshmi go.
Lakshmi, Shalu and Bani have halwa to celebrate her job. Neha says Rishi will learn his lesson now of not marrying her but Lakshmi. Rano says she will blame Oberoi’s of mistreating Lakshmi and domestic violence and will say Lakshmi wants the money. Rano says they will give her crores to save their name.
Rishi remembers that Lakshmi used to stop him from putting towel on bed and removes it. He goes to bed thinking of Lakshmi and has disturbed sleep. Lakshmi also thinks of him while sleeping. Rishi thinks of calling her but stops. As he is about to call her, Malishka calls him. Rishi tells her that Neelam was very upset so they will meet the next day. Malishka says it is fine.
Ayush asks Rishi if he has a spare phone as his phone got damaged and he needs to make a call. Rishi gives him his phone. Ayush calls Shalu. Lakshmi is surprised to see Rishi’s number. Ayush asks if Rishi spoke. Rishi asks to who, so Ayush changes the topic. Lakshmi decides that they will not worry about Rishi anymore.
Shalu berates Lakshmi for crying the whole night as her pillow is wet. Lakshmi tries to make excuses but Shalu tells her to not control her emotions and says that it is okay to cry. Lakshmi says crying will only make her weak and she has to remain strong to face this world. She says Rano is not who they thought she is and she will take care of them. Shalu says nothing will change if she gives herself two days. Lakshmi says her world has already changed and she wants to work.
Rishi looks for his phone and again thinks of Lakshmi. Malishka calls him to come home. Rishi thinks he is finally able to breathe without guilt and they will all be happy now. Rishi misses Lakshmi so he thinks he should change his room.
Rano is about to have Lakshmi’s tea but Bani takes it and gives it to Lakshmi. Shalu and Bani make her tiffin and send her for job. Lakshmi phones the jewellery store to take the address. The manager tells her that she has not got the job. Lakshmi says Darshan sir asked her to come today. The manager says they do not need anyone at the moment. Rano listens to all this. She snatches the plate of breakfast from Lakshmi’s hand and says you do not get jobs easily in Mumbai. Shalu tells Lakshmi to talk to Darshan sir. Rano rebukes Lakshmi and says she must give her rent whatever happens. Lakshmi says she will not go back on her word.
Rishi is about to go out. Neelam stops him. Rishi asks her not to make him live in fear anymore. Neelam says she knows he is upset because of Lakshmi. Rishi says he does not believe in horoscope. Neelam blames Lakshmi for making a mountain out of molehill. Rishi says Lakshmi is not at fault and they cannot force her to stay with them if she does not want. Ayush thinks Rishi is defending Lakshmi as he is in love with her.
Lakshmi says she will find another job and she has faith in herself and in God. She tells Shalu and Bani that they will fulfil their dreams. Rano pretends to be sympathetic and tells Lakshmi to do everything she wants. Lakshmi says she will go for another interview. Shalu and Bani says they are proud of her.
