Dadhi R Paandey: Every Life Matters getting selected as 4th runners up in Dadasaheb Film Fest is a proud moment for us

Sane Insane Pictures’ Every Life Matters has bagged the fourth runners up position in the short films category at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. The film has been directed by Dadhi R Paandey who says that getting this sort of recognition is unparalleled.
“Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is a very prestigious platform and for our film to get selected and come as the fourth runners up (in the short film top 10 list) is a proud moment for the team. For an actor and a director, when his work is recognised on such a platform, it gives you a lot of positive energy. It’s like performing on stage and getting applause from your audience. For me, it is the same,” he says.
The film stars Sudeep Sarangi, Satyajit Sharma, Atul Tiwari and baby Ayesha and is a story showcasing how the first lockdown impacted people’s lives.
Every Life Matters has also made it to Mumbai International Cult Film Festival and will be screened soon. “We are excited to have our film screening at the festival. We will hopefully be going to see the response at the screening,” he says, adding, “When films are shown at such festivals, there is a different kind of energy and motivation. It makes you want to make a good film. It’s a positive sign for your film, one that indicates that your film is getting noticed.”
In fact, the team hopes to be able to showcase the film at other film festivals as well. “We want that more and more people watch the film and so we want it to be shown in many festivals and we are trying for that. The reach of a film increases through festivals,” he says.
