“Although we all are actors and not professional cricketers, still each and every one of us will try to give our 100%. We will play with more aggression and power to take the trophy home. Cricket is a religion in India. We have produced some of the finest cricketers. Most of us have played this game while growing up. Cricket is in our blood. We play this sport with all our heart and spirit,” he says.
Dheeraj and his team have started practicing on regular intervals. He gives credit to Dilip for arranging everything. The actor also reveals that his favourite cricketer is Virat Kohli for his aggressive approach, talent and friendly nature.
“My expectations from this year’s ACB is that my team should perform better as last year we couldn’t do that well. I feel this year we are going to win this tournament,” he continues showering praises on Dilip, “He is a gem of a person who is completely responsible for such a big event. Believe me it’s not an easy task to handle so many actors but hats off to dear D for providing us this amazing platform to play our childhood game with such good facilities. We all love him.”
Amid all these, the actor will also watch the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. “I love the IPL because it gives a chance to so many new players to show their talent. I usually support RCB as Virat is part of that team. This time there are two new teams, I am looking forward to seeing how they perform,” he ends.
