At the beginning of the episode, Virat tells Shruti that if Sai is willing to listen then he only will clear all her misunderstandings. He says Sai is doubting him despite telling that he is not wrong and has blamed him from the start. He says this means she never had confidence on him or their relationship. He says he tried to talk to her outside too, but she treated him like a stranger, so he has decided not to beg her anymore. He tells Shruti to get ready as they have to leave.
Shruti asks where they will go. Virat says he has arranged a safe house for her. Shruti asks what about him. Virat says he is looking for a place near that house for himself but it may take a week. Shruti asks him to move in with them as she trusts him completely. Virat gets a message from DIG to report to duty immediately.
Virat comes out with Sahas in his arms with Shruti. Sai watches them go sadly. Pulkit asks Sai why she stayed back. Sai says Virat wanted to talk to her. Pulkit says Virat deserves to get punished for his deeds. Sai asks him not to curse them before they start their new life. Pulkit says he cannot bless people who spoilt her life.
Virat reports for duty. DIG asks him who Shruti is. Virat tells him that Shruti is one of his known. DIG says people do not register known people as their wife in hospital and portals. Virat asks if his family spoke to him. DIG says they have not spoken. Virat says it means Sai has spoken ti him. DIG says Sai is a gem of a person and she will never do anything to harm him. He says he had been behaving differently after the mission so they found out themselves. He says he has disappointed him despite being his best officer and even his job is at stake. Virat asks him to not ask any personal questions.
DIG says he cannot believe he betrayed Sai. He says Virat has 72 hours to give an explanation and if his reply is not satisfactory, he will be fired. Virat tells him that he already has all the information. DIG says it means that baby is his illegitimate baby, and he must tell him the truth as he must keep this department clean. Virat refuses to give any explanation. DIG tells him to get lost.
Sai looks for Pulkit in college. She shows him the newspaper where there is a news about Virat questioning his character. Pulkit says Virat is just getting the return for what he has done. Sai says she will not let Virat suffer like this. Pulkit says she will not be able to do anything to stop this. Sai says she cannot let Virat get suspended. Pulkit says why she is trying save the guy who cheated on her. Sai says Virat has done too much for her already, saved her from a goon, brought her from Gadchiroli, helped her study. She says her safety and promising future is all thanks to Virat and he carried out his responsibility towards her.
Pulkit says she wants to return the favour for whatever little he did for her. Sai says whatever she is today, is all because of Virat. Pulkit says she got family’s love not because of Virat, but because she is a good person. Pulkit says she will not be able to convince Virat’s seniors just because she says so. He says no-one can save Virat now.
Sai wonders what to do. Pulkit grabs the newspaper and throws it in garbage. He tells Sai to focus on her studies and not worry about things out of her control. Sai says she has an idea to save Virat. Sai says if she proves that they are already divorced then this will not look as bad. Pulkit says she loves Virat so much that she will even divorce him. Sai says perhaps they were not made for each other. She says that she will never be able to forgive herself if he loses his job because of her.
