At the beginning of the episode, Sarla gets a call from Maaji. Maaji asks for Mena, Sarla says it’s the wrong number. Maaji corrects herself and says she is calling for Nima. Sarla says she’ll ask her to ring you back. Maaji tells her to convey to Nima that Maaji has called and asked her to come to work tomorrow. Sarla goes outside of the house and tells Nima to stop crying as her problems have been solved by Ganesh Ji, she tells her that maaji had called and asked her to join work from tomorrow. Sarla gets another call, she gives the phone to Nima and says it’s for her. Nima takes the phone and listens to it.
Nima comes to the park where Suresh is, he thanks her for meeting him and says that he knows that he has hurt her a lot over time and he regrets his actions and wants to rectify them. He says to her that he wants to stay with her and his daughter. Nima has happy tears in her eyes, Suresh taps her shoulder from behind and she realizes she was dreaming.
Suresh apologizes to her for making her wait, she says to him no worries as Sarla is with the girls. Suresh tells her that he has caused her so much pain in their relationship and regrets a lot of his decisions, and he knows that he needs to pick one side so he is doing it according to who is stronger and takes care of their kids without him. He says that he wants a divorce from Nima, he stands facing his backside to Nima. She starts crying and then controls her tears. She asks Suresh if he remembers their first meet in the park, they see the engraving of their names in the tree and have a flashback.
A coconut water vendor sees them and says that he remembers their order of one coconut with two straws like before. Nima says today they aren’t in a good mood. Suresh hands him the coconut back, the vendor says it’s normal even he gets into a fight with his wife. Nima asks Suresh if they can walk and talk.
While walking Nima says to Suresh that they even didn’t fight with each other. She says that she should have tried stopping him from getting married again, she says they started falling apart since the day he got married to Tulika, and signing the divorce papers is just a formality. It starts raining and Suresh uses his shirt to cover Nima and him, they have a flashback of their days in Sikkim. Nima takes shelter in a nearby shed.
When Suresh comes inside the shed she says to him that Mumbai has been her biggest teacher and she can handle rain and if she would have completed her college in Sikkim, she today could have taken better care of her kids. She says even now she’ll provide them the best and they will fulfill every dream of her’s. While she is leaving Suresh holds her hands and falls down on his knees and Nima also falls down her knees. They both have flashbacks of their lives together and Nima stands back and leaves. Suresh takes out the divorce papers and the wind blows it away from his hands.
