Prince Rodde: I’m excited to play for Team Mumbai Aces in the Actors Cricket Bash this year

Prince Rodde is hopeful that Team Mumbai Aces will be the winner of the third edition of Actors Cricket Bash (ACB). Living up to its tagline, #ReelActorsRealCricket, ACB, founded by Dilip Agrawal will be an entertaining experience this year.  This year it will be held between March 19 and March 22, in Air India Ground, Mumbai.

“I am very excited to be a part of this tournament as it provides an opportunity to play genuine cricket which I used to play during my college days. The competition is hard as cricket is a men’s game, though the Indian National Women Team is also doing well. But if you ask me personally I would say this is more difficult when it comes to men’s cricket (please clarify his quote with him),” he says.

Cricket is not just a religion it’s a feeling that binds the nation, feels the actor, who is busy practicing for ACB. “We are practising hard and our captain Sharad Kelkar is really focused on us when it comes to guiding us. He knows what is best for us,” he adds.

Talking about his favourite cricketer, Prince says, “No one before and no one after Sachin Tendulkar because of his commitment and sincerity towards the game that he loves the most. I think that’s the most important point apart from his records that makes him the best.”

Prince also praises Dilip for his dedication and motivation. “Dilip Sir has given us such an amazing experience in the past and keeping that in mind, we are sure we will have fun this time too. He is the man behind the success of ACB. Every actor is busy in their personal or professional life and Dilip sir goes out of the way and motivates everyone, encouraging them to play the game. He is a gem of a person,” he adds.

The actor is also excited to watch the upcoming season of Indian Premier League. “This year they have added two more teams, which makes it more challenging and exciting. Now I am all the more looking forward to this series. My favourite is Mumbai Indians and I will support them this season too,” he ends.
