At the beginning of the episode, Suhani asks Sudha if it is possible to stop all this. Kamini comes and tells Suhani not to cry as it is just engagement not her VIDAI. She takes Suhani down. Rohit’s mother compliments Suhani. Nikki makes her sit next to Rohit. She teases Rohit. Rohit’s mother asks why Suhani is looking tired. Kamini says she did not sleep properly at night.
Dadi starts the TILAK ceremony. Suhani remains lost, as Sudha also does the ritual. Rojit’s mother starts Suhani’s ROKA ritual and puts CHUNNI on her head. Ranveer comes and screams Suhani’s name. Everyone is shocked. He asks what is all this. Ranveer asks Suhani this is why she stopped him from bringing notes. Rohit’s father asks who he is. Rakesh says he is his boss, Vikrant Oberoi’s son.
Ranveer asks Suhani if it is happening with her consent. Suhani says she will talk to her later, but he insists. Suhani hesitates so Ranveer says he understood that all this is happening without her consent. Kamini says all this is happening for Suhani’s sake. Rakesh asks Ranveer not to spoil his daughter’s big day. Ranveer says Rakesh is spoiling not just her day but her whole life.
Rohit asks who he is and why he is creating nuisance. Ranveer grabs his collar and warns him not to ask his name or he will be finished. He throws him back and gifts fall down. Ranveer asks him to pick up the stuff and get out with his family. Rohit’s father asks Ranveer if they invited them to insult them like this. Ranveer grabs Rohit’s collar, so Rakesh asks him to leave him. Sudha says she will talk to Ranveer. Rohit says Ranveer is mad and they must leave immediately.
Kamini tries to stop them, but they leave. Nikki tells Kamini not to say anything to Ranveer. Rakesh tells Ranveer that Suhani’s alliance got broken because of him. Ranveer says forced alliances anyway do not work. He says Rohit left Suhani f the fear of getting hit. He says they never asked Suhani if she is willing to get married to him or anyone else. Rakesh says he wants to see his daughter happy. Ranveer says he does not realise what his daughter’s happiness lies in. He asks how many times he has spoken to Suhani and asked what she likes.
Suhani says so many girls lose their dreams because of marriage. He says Suhani must have been happy when he allowed her to join medical college, but he kept control in his hands. Ranveer asks if he knows that Suhani scored 99% marks in first semester. He says he is lucky to have a docile daughter is Suhani and if his father had done something like this to him.
Suhani shouts at Ranveer to shut up. She tells him that her father is Goid for her and she cannot hear nonsense about him. She tells him not to interfere in their family matters and get out from there. Ranveer says she is as wrong as Rakesh because eshe did not protest and ignored her own dreams. He says she must raise her own voice. Ranveer goes from there. Everyone is shocked. Kamini says it must be Suhani’s plan. Dadi scolds her and says Suhani is not like her. Suhani comforts Rakesh and asks him not to think too much about it.
