Last week we saw that, during the muh dikhai ritual of Thapki, Veena welcomes her and tells Everyone that now she will sing a song for everyone and proves that she is the best choice of hers. Purab goes and off the Mike. When Thapki speaks only Veena got to listen to her. She gets to know that Thapki stammers. She made her eat laddoo and not let her speak in front of anyone. Veena says that she don’t want Thapki to be her daughter in law. She says that she will handle Amma and ask Purab to leave her at her house.
Purab ask Thapki to get ready as now they have to go to her house for pagphera ritual. Veena is putting gangajal on herself. Amma ask her what is she doing? She says that she has touched and talked to Thapki. She tells her that Thapki can’t sing and she can’t even speak properly because she stammers. Amma says that she is innocent and it’s not her fault. Thapki’s family welcomes Thapki and Purab. Some goons comes and threatens Thapki’s mamaji. Purab saved him from those goons.
Thapki’s mother tells Thapki that Purab is a nice guy and ask her to be in this relationship with love. Thapki goes to Purab and tells him that she wants to says something to her. She tells him that a big thanks because he made her mother realise that he also consider her as her own mother and he respects her family so much. Purab says that he respects her mother because she alone has done her upbringing. He tells her that he can’t stay in this marriage. He tells her that Veena also doesn’t like her. Thapki ask her how could this be possible?
He says that Veena don’t want people to know about her that’s why she didn’t said anything to her during the muh dikhai ritual. He says sorry to her. Thapki returns him the jewellery given to her by his family and says that she don’t want to live in a family where she don’t get respect and love. Thapki’s mother listens this. When Purab is leaving Thapki’s mother shouts his name. Everyone is shocked because after a long time she speaked. She ask him to stay and suddenly falls unconscious. Doctor tells them that she got a heart attack.
After the surgery doctor comes and says that there is no need to worry. Purab goes to meet Thapki’s mother. Thapki’s mother tells him that she knows that he came here to leave Thapki permanently. She says that she don’t want the same things happen to Thapki which happened with her. She says that she don’t know how much is left with her. She ask him to promise her that she will not leave Thapki. Purab promises her that he will never leave Thapki. Purab brings Thapki home. Veena is shocked to see Thapki. She ask Purab why he bring her back.
He says that she is the daughter in law of this house and she will stay with him. Veena says that she can sacrifice her music but she will never accept Thapki. He tells Veena that he wants to give a chance to his marriage. Purab’s grandmother takes Purab to her room. She says that it seems like Thapki is the one who will fill colours in his life. Next day when Thapki wakes up, she Listens Veena doing rihas. Purab’s grandmother stops Thapki and tells her that she is perfect. She says that Veena is tough, but it’s not that difficult to melt her heart. She says that once Veena started liking her she will love her so much. Thapki says that she will do everything to make Veena happy.
