Saurish Sharma shares having developed a devout attitude and an inclination towards spirituality since childhood. The astrologer, whose clientele Emraan Hashmi, Srishty Rode, Vibhu Agarwal, Karishma Jain, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Sharad Malhotra, Adaa Khan, Sandip Soparrkar, Rashami Desai, Aishwarya Sharma, Nivedita Basu, 4 Lions, Charanjit Singh Channi (ex-CM of Punjab) and many other cabinet rank ministers sharers his journey so far.
“From an early age, I started reading ancient scriptures and attended satsangs to deepen my understanding of religion and spirituality. During this time, I became fascinated by the stars and the sky above us and felt the high power. It also motivated me to spend two years in the abode of the Himalayas. Living close to nature helped me gain spiritual knowledge, I learned meditation, and received guidance from various rishis and gurus. After returning from the Himalayas, I enrolled myself and later got associated with AIFAS (All India Federation of Astrologers’ Societies), Chandigarh, where I acquired a formal training on astrology and also got the title of ‘Shashtracharya’ for my knowledge in Vedic Astrology and Vastu Shastra,” says Saurish, talking about what made him choose this path.
“The form of Astrology I practice is primarily Lal Kitab and Vedic Astrology. The predictions become more precise and results of remedies are more effective when both these things are mixed. While Vedic Astrology is great when it comes to predicting events, yet it offers a very limited scope of remedies through poojas and yajnas. Lal Kitaab, on the other hand, is very powerful when it comes to providing really effective remedies to people with guaranteed results. Also, the type of Vastu Shastra I practice is based on Lal Kitab, where the kundalis of the occupants of the property are also taken into account along with the architectural map of the property. The results of such calculations are tremendous and more effective than simple Vastu,” adds Saurish, who has been practising astrology since 2016. His predictions and work have gained a lot of popularity.
Astrology has become a big industry, there are too many of them these days, and therefore the competition is quite high. Saurish begins by saying that competition is reality in every industry.
“There are innumerable lawyers, engineers, doctors, models, designers in the world trying to earn a decent living. But people with real talent, strong basics and strong planetary combination, outshine their competition and rise above the masses without bothering about the competition. Competition is still higher in the line of astrology because for professions like engineering, lawyers or doctors, people still need to acquire a formal degree from a university after studying for 4-5 years and only when they pass the exam, they get to practice. With Astrology, things are a little easy as most of the people do a 3-6 month course from an organization or read a few books out of curiosity and then start practicing it commercially. These are the people who are responsible for making astrology infamous whereby already vulnerable clients come with a hope to find a solution to their messed up life and instead they get duped by following expensive remedies that don’t yield any effective results. I am personally motivated by this dialogue from 3 Idiots where Rancho tells people not to chase money and rather focus on excellence in their respective fields. Money automatically chases the person himself who has an excellent knowledge,” he adds.
