Sharad Malhotra, Aalisha Panwar and Rahul Sharma are in favour of hug drive!

An act of kindness can make so many lives better. On February 17, actor Richa Chaddha Instagrammed a two-year-old throwback video of her hug drive to celebrate ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’. She wrote, “Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day! This is how I spent the day two years ago. How are you celebrating it today? I look at this video and think of how quickly our world has changed in such little time ! This was possible in the pre-Covid world and hopefully will be again soon. What the world needs is love, more of it, too much of it till it fills all voids, heals all wounds and becomes brimful and overflows. With only love in my 💖, I wish you all happy kindness day.” Her post got much positive feedback from her fans and co-workers. We ask celebrities if they will ever do such a thing, what is the value of hugs in their daily lives and if they are comfortable in expressing their affection towards their loved ones:

If I’ll get this kind of opportunity, I will definitely do it. But it is not necessary to give hugs to people to just make them feel nice about themselves and have a good feeling. When you’ve good thoughts and share it, when you have certain kind of personality, When you’re a good human being, good human being is what when your thoughts are good, you’re having positive vibrations, positive energy and you can give that kind of energy, you can give that beautiful smile to people in anyway. Today, social media is a very good medium to just share your positive thoughts and inspire people. It’s just such a beautiful thing which you can do any way. Just be a good person and make this world better with your good deeds. It can be something really simple, something like helping someone to cross the road or feeding a stray dog, it matters. And, it’s not necessary to start with a hug. Sometimes if you do it silently it is more effective and worthwhile.

I believe in the power of hugs. A good hug when the energy is low makes your day. Richa Chadha’s drive was interesting. One day I will surely like to try it out. One surely should be open about expressing love and affection. It is a very positive feeling. I give hugs to my loved ones all the time.

Hugs are the best. The free hug drive by Richa Chadha really shows the effort of her trying to give back to the society some love and positivity. Good to see that in this self-obsessed and materialistic world there are people who are courageous enough to set on a mission to spread happiness and joy. It’s a truly lovely thing, and I’m delighted that people are doing it. I believe that this is a way to brighten someone’s day.
