Vandana Khandelwal and Pawan Singh’s latest collaboration, Tumsa Koi Pyaara has been creating waves all over. The song has crossed 15 million views and counting. Pawan singh and Vandana are huge fans of Govinda. The reason why making this song was a special experience for them. Vandana sounds excited to have worked on a Govinda song and that too with Bhojpuri star and singing sensation Pawan Singh.
“It’s a great feeling, the song has been trending on YouTube. I hope that it crosses 100 million soon… It’s an iconic 90s song and recreating it with power star Pawan Singh was super cool. I could not have asked for anything better. It was meant to be a super hit. Govinda ji is a legend and my all-time favourite. We have grown up dancing to all his hit film tracks,” says Vandana
On recreating Bollywood’s iconic song with superstar Pawan Singh, Vandana adds, “I always wanted to work with Pawan Ji. So, when TIPS gave me this opportunity, I was overwhelmed. Pawan ji is the most humble star that I have worked with. He’s such a natural actor and his voice is so soulful. I want to thank Manisha Dey ma’am and Girish Taurani sir for trusting me with this song.
Vandana adds, “Music is a universal language. I want to produce all kinds and genres of music video in future too”
Pawan Singh, on his part, shares, “I have been a huge Govinda fan since childhood, I always used to sing and dance to his songs. During my first meeting with the label, I decided I will do this song itself. I feel very fortunate that I got a chance to recreate a Govinda song. Working with Vandana Ji and her team was a great experience. She is hardworking and made everything very comfortable on the set. Looking forward to working with her soon.”
