For Zohaeb Farooqui, love is something eternal and limitless. It’s like a pure bond of togetherness, friendship, loyalty, trust and respect, says the Inspector Avinash actor.
Love means different things to different people at different stages of life. “But honestly I’m too young for it now. So the different stages part doesn’t apply to me yet! And in today’s DNA, it’s all so fast and everyone is just competing or just juggling in traffic or scrolling on Instagram/Facebook. No one has time to meet physically in person. But I am a little old school and kind of feel blessed to have all kinds of human love around me,” says the actor. Contrary to what many might say that social media has blurred the lines between real and fake, Zohaeb feels at the end of the day it’s all in our hands. There is no point in blaming social media for everything. Even if one falls in love, giving time becomes an issue these days. “That is because of traffic and high petrol prices (laughs). But if you notice these days, people don’t travel much to meet anyone. They Insta or WhatsApp and are happy about it. Love is not an illusion, it requires direct contact. Those who understand that have found true love,” he adds. He also doesn’t agree that celebrities are always chasing fame and therefore does not find true love. “Celebrities are also humans. How love happens in one’s life has got nothing to do with his or her profession,” he ends.
