Actor Anuj Sachdeva says that Mother Earth never falters in rewarding us for our actions. This Earth Day, the actor adds that if we do our bit for Mother Earth, we will also benefit from our actions.
“I am a believer in karma. I believe what you do for Mother Earth comes back to you, in some form or the other. As you sow, so shall you reap. As a responsible citizen, I try to do whatever little I can do to protect Mother Earth,” he says.
Talking about what he does, the actor says, “Firstly, I believe in sustainability, so I avoid plastic as much as I can. Carrying my own brass bottle on set, using steel plates, and spoons instead of disposable ones, I make sure to be cautious about many such things. I also have a lot of plants at my house. I have plants all over my house, in every room, especially plants that purify the air and some pet-friendly plants for my dog. Besides, I also make sure that I do not litter. I store whatever wrappers, and papers I have in my car and come home and throw them in the bin. Every drop of water matters. Similarly, each of our little deeds will make for a better earth.”
He adds, “Let’s heal the world and make it a better place for you, me, and everyone out there.”
