At the beginning of the episode, Rano is very excited to get the gold Ganapati. She asks Preetam if Mr. Oberoi is gone. Virendra comes out and says he is going. He says he is very happy to meet them all, especially their daughters. Rano says they are very happy to hear this. Rano asks Virendra what if Rishi can get married to their daughter even though their standards are very different. Virendra tries to say something, but she does not allow him to say anything.
Virendra says this is exactly what he wanted. Neha thinks he is talking about her and is overjoyed. Virendra says he will talk to his wife and family and will let them know. Preetam and Rano cannot believe that Virendra wants his son Rishi to get married to their daughter Neha. Preetam says what if Neelam Oberoi says no.
Virendra calls Rishi from the office. He tells him that he has chosen a girl for him. Rishi looks at Neelam but she says she has also come to know just now. Virendra says the girl is well-mannered and sociable and she is an ideal girl for Rishi. Neelam says but the girl can not meet their class and standard. Virendra says the girl can mix up in their family but what she has, other girls can never have. Rishi asks who the girl is. Virendra tells him that the girl is Lakshmi and he has met her many times in the past few days. Rishi says it is a matter of his whole life. Virendra asks him to meet Lakshmi once and then decide.
Neha says to Lakshmi that her marriage breaking was lucky for her. She starts preparing for the wedding already. Lakshmi’s sisters show Rishi’s photo in the magazine. Lakshmi goes from there. Shalu says Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life so she should have gotten him in her life.
Oberoi’s manager comes to their home with lots of gifts and says that Oberois will come tomorrow to make it official. Rano and Neha go crazy looking at gifts. Rano tells Lakshmi to buy sweets to distribute.
They are coming back with sweets when a car splashes mud on Lakshmi. Shalu screams at the driver and it is Rishi. Rishi brings water for her to wash her face. He watches her as she washes her face. He touches her hand and they both get a shock. They both get confused and embarrassed. Rishi apologizes to her. Shalu says they cannot be rude to him as he is their would-be jiju. He asks if he can drop them home, but Lakshmi says no.
Rano tells Lakshmi to prepare snacks for the guests. Rano tells the sisters not to wear good clothes and not come out when they come. Rano tells Preetam that she does not want to take risk of Oberoi’s like one of three sisters instead of Neha.
Oberoi’s come and see the condition of the road in front of Bajwa’s house. The secretary comes first and checks the place where Neelam will sit. Virendra introduces Neelam to them. Rano introduces Neha. Virendra asks for Lakshmi. Rano says they should first talk about the wedding. Virendra insists that they call the three sisters. The sisters are dressed in old clothes and Rano warns them not to say even a word.
Virendra introduces them to Neelam. Neelam asks what he saw in Lakshmi. Virendra says she will soon see it herself. Virendra wants to do the ritual of giving the “shagun ka sikka”. Neha waits expectantly but Virendra gives it to Lakshmi and calls her “bahu”. Rano and Preetam are shocked.
