At the beginning of the episode, Rishi drops Lakshmi home. He asks her to promise that she will not tell anyone about what happened and it will remain their secret. Lakshmi says it is the second secret they share, the first one was the vada pav one. Rishi says they will share all their secrets from this day. Rishi says he was not sure when Virendra asked him to meet her, but now he realizes that Virendra was absolutely right like always. He thanks her for her presence of mind during the attack, which saved them. He says he is very pleased to meet her. They shake hands and they get electric shock again.
Preetam and Rano come out. They ask what happened to the car and why is the windshield broken. Rishi makes an excuse. Rishi invites them to his birthday party the next day. Rishi asks Lakshmi to come specially.
Rano scolds Lakshmi for staring at Rishi. Neha rebukes her for not saying no. Lakshmi says Rishi is not the kind of person she said he is, in fact, he is the opposite. She says she still hasn’t said yes, so they should decide for her. Rano says he was good today, but he soon shows his true colors to her.
Preetam tells Rano to accept what is happening. Rano says she will get back everything. Rano tells Neha to take advantage of the party to make Rishi hers. Neha says she knows what to do.
Rishi’s friends come to his party. He waits for Lakshmi impatiently. Ayush says she will definitely come. Lakshmi and her family come in auto, so the watchman stops them. Rano calls Virendra and he invites them in. Virendra apologizes to them and takes them inside.
Virendra introduces Lakshmi and her family to the whole family. Dadi is very happy to meet Lakshmi. Dadi introduces her daughter Karishma and granddaughters Devika and Ahana and grandson Ayush. Ayush says he has already met Lakshmi. Ayush says he will take Lakshmi to Rishi. Neha says she will take her. Dadi tells Virendra that it is a yes from her side. Neha thinks of trapping Rishi. Rishi meets Lakshmi and says hi. Lakshmi says namaste. Rishi says will she not wish her. Lakshmi wishes him God’s blessings and says that all his wishes should come true. Rishi says no one has ever wished him this way.
Neha wishes Rishi, but Rishi ignores her. Neha says if he does not look at her, how will he get impressed. Rano gets angry at Neha’s failure.
Rishi introduces Lakshmi to his sister, Soniya. Soniya teases her so Rishi tells her not to do so as Lakshmi is very shy. Rishi asks her why she is so conscious. Lakshmi says it is because everyone is wearing western clothes and she is feeling awkward. Rishi says she should remain as she is and not change.
Virendra asks Lakshmi, she must be thinking about how he agreed to marry her so fast. He tells her that Rishi is modern but he is rooted and listens to his parents. He says she might sometimes find him strange and he may drink also but it is just the outer self for the world, but real Rishi is just like her.
Preetam tells Rano that he was looking at the waiter’s clothes as they were looking very expensive. They say the servants are wearing such expensive clothes, how can they give such cheap clothes to Rishi that they have got a gift. He tells Rano to hide them in her bag.
Virendra asks how she likes the party. Lakshmi says it is a wonderful party, but she is awkward because she is wearing Indian clothes and everyone else is wearing western. Virendra says now she will not feel awkward. Rishi comes wearing Indian clothes. Lakshmi is really touched by this gesture. Rishi asks her to dance. Lakshmi is hesitant but his friends insist so Lakshmi joins him.
Karishma says she always thought Rishi will marry some model. Neelam says she knew Rishi will never say no to his parent’s wishes.
