At the beginning of the episode, Rano pretends to be worried about Lakshmi and says she made her favourite food for her. She serves food for Lakshmi and pampers her. Preetam stays quiet though he feels guilty. Lakshmi says the food is very nice.
Soniya give medicine to Dadi. Rishi asks what happened. Dadi tells him not to worry. Soniya says Rishi should also know. Karishma tells that Lakshmi’s aunt came home. Rishi says if Lakshmi’s aunt wants to give this marriage another chance, even he wants Lakshmi to come back. Karishma says Lakshmi does not want to come back, but she wants alimony from him. Soniya says that middle class woman wants alimony. Rishi tells her to watch her words as Lakshmi is her Bhabhi. Soniya tells him that he never respected his relationship, and he is telling her to respect her.
Rishi says Lakshmi does not even want to talk to him let alone alimony. Soniya says Rishi is doing too much and he is becoming a doormat to her. Rishi blasts Soniya not to interfere in his life. Dadi says he is regretting what he did and missing Lakshmi. Soniya says he loves Malishka. Karishma wonders why Rishi is behaving this way.
Rishi misses Lakshmi in his room. Ayush comes there to talk to him. He asks Rishi if he was hurt by what Soniya said. Rishi says he is feeling helpless and nothing is in his hands. He says he wants to talk to the person who used to listen to everything he said and even he listened all her nonsense. He remembers what Lakshmi said about bumping heads and how she used to support him. He says he is missing his best friend and he never realised when he got so attached to him. He says she was not willing to talk to him, but he wanted to hug her tightly.
Ayush says he should have hugged her. Rishi says how he could do it. Ayush says with the same right that her aunt came here. Rishi says Lakshmi can never compromise on her self-respect for anything.
Rano tells Lakshmi that she said about giving rent because she wanted to send her back because of her old values. Rano asks Lakshmi to forgive her. Lakshmi says that she understands. Rano says that means she is willing to divorce Rishi. Lakshmi is shocked and loses her balance. Preetam and her sisters take her to the rest.
Rishi says he knows it is all Lakshmi’s aunt’s plan. Ayush says this is his brother who he loves dearly. Rishi says now everyone hates him. Ayush says he started loving Lakshmi dearly. Rishi tells him how Lakshmi used to care for him dearly. He says anyone can love her. Ayush asks if he did not love Lakshmi. Rishi stays quiet.
Lakshmi tells Preetam that she is alright. Preetam apologises to Lakshmi for not doing enough for them. Lakshmi says it is enough that he is supporting her and she will handle herself. He tell Shalu and Bani to take care of Lakshmi. Preetam tells Rano not to talk to Lakshmi about Rishi and divorce. Rano says she will have to do it, as Lakshmi has ended the marriage herself. Preetam says she is doing it for money and he will not spare her if she does it this time. He warns her that he will throw her out of the house if she does not listen. Rano says how dare he talk to her like that and she is not scared of him. Rano is determined to take compensation from Rishi.
