This week, Balwinder asks Lakshmi to dance in the wedding. Lakshmi is very embarrassed and humiliated. She goes away crying. Rano says this is all fashion in cities these days. Shalu prays to god to stop this wedding somehow. Lakshmi puts varmala, but when Blwainder put, it breaks. Rishi’s flight gets canceled. He goes to the hotel and sees the chaos of Balwinder and his friends. Shalu. Balwinder friends argue with him. One of his friends spill alcohol in the hotel. Balwinder is drinking and badmouthing Rishi when Rishi comes and hears everything. He gives a dressing down to Balwinder and throws him away. Rishi is shocked to see that Lakshmi is the bride. There is fire in the hotel. Everyone is evacuated. Rishi gets stuck in a room. Lakshmi comes back because her mother’s necklace is missing.
Lakshmi finds Rishi unconscious and saves him. Rishi is taken to hospital. Rano blames Lakshmi for being unlucky. Staff tells Neelam and Virendra that Lakshmi saved Rishi’s life. Balwinder comes to Bajwa’s house and blames Lakshmi. He throws away Lakshmi’s horoscope. Rano says he cannot break this alliance. Balwinder says for him she is his wife and he tries to forcefully take her away but run away when police comes. Virendra comes to their house to meet Lakshmi. He brings a gold Ganesh as a gift. He finds Lakshmi’s horoscope in the street. Shalu and Bani console Lakshmi. Virendra meets Lakshmi and he likes her very much. Rano gets the statue checked for originality. Rano and Neha plan to get Neha married to Rishi. Virendra gets a bout if cough, so Lakshmi makes kadha for him and says he looks like her father.
Rano tells Virendra that they want to get their daughter married to Rishi. Virendra says he also wants that. Virendra tells Rishi and Neelam that he has chosen the ideal girl for Rishi. Rano asks Lakshmi to get sweets. Lakshmi and sisters are coming back with sweets when Rishi’s car splashes mud on Lakshmi. He gets water for her to wash her face. Virendra and Neelam come to their house. Virendra insists that they call the three sisters. The sisters are dressed in old clothes and Rano warns them not to say even a word. Virendra introduces them to Neelam. Neelam asks what he saw in Lakshmi. Virendra says she will soon see it herself. Virendra wants to do the ritual of giving the “shagun ka sikka”. Neha waits expectantly but Virendra gives it to Lakshmi and calls her “bahu”.
Rano says they have a misunderstanding and she talked about Neha not Lakshmi. Rano says he should have stated clearly before and if they do not want Neha then they can go back instead of insulting them. Neelam gets angry and says if she calls the DCP, he could throw them out and they have to pay damages for the fire in the hotel that would be the real insult. Virendra asks Lakshmi if she is ready for this marriage. Lakshmi is confused and thinks of what Rano told her. She says she doesn’t know. He convinces her to meet Rishi once and then decide. Rishi calls Lakshmi and asks her to go on a date with him. Lakshmi is confused at first but later agrees. Rano tells Lakshmi that Rishi is a spoilt brat and a womaniser and she should say no for this marriage.
Rishi picks Lakshmi from her house and takes her to his hotel. There they meet Rishi’s college friends. One of Rishi’s rivals misbehaves with Lakshmi and Rishi saves her. Lakshmi is touched by Rishi’s gesture. He apologizes to her and they go to the restaurant. Rishi tells her to forget what happened and enjoy their meeting. Lakshmi sees that Rishi is polite with the staff unlike what Rano said. Neha calls Lakshmi and asks if Rishi did any thing wrong. Lakshmi says he is not like what Rano said. Neha throws her phone in anger. Rano says she will not let Lakshmi get married to Rishi at any cost.
