Bullies and trolls are part and parcel of this profession: Nyrraa M Banerji

Popular actress Nyrraa M Banerji recently touched the one million mark in her Instagram handle. The actress shares her excitement with us and says, “Firstly a big thanks to all my fans and well-wishers, my ever-increasing extended family. It feels great to have so many people appreciating you. I feel loved.” On being asked how much effort does she put into posting a picture or a video and reels on her social media, she says,”I try to make my page look beautiful.  I post my new looks, my new photoshoots, the trending reels. It’s just my way of keeping my audience entertained.  I flow with the thoughts and don’t really put in much effort.  Nowadays Instagram is as good as your portfolio. So I just keep updating my work there.”

But do you agree that with such a huge number of followers comes a big group of online bullies and trollers too? So how do you deal with them?

“Bullies and trolls are part and parcel of this profession. I’m used to it. Don’t bother.  They say what they want to say.”
Many times actors have expressed that the number of followers are important to get an endorsement and work in the industry. So what’s your point of view? She adds,”It may be important to get endorsements. But I have seen a lot of people who are only popular with a lot of followers with no actual credit of having a film or a show.  There are a lot of renowned actors with fewer followers. What about them? This is where we got to decide on the actual face value.”

Well, Nyrraa has a point isn’t it?
