Actor and young writer Priya Malik’s first poetry collection ‘Ishq Ke Saat Padaav’ is going to be published soon by Vani Prakashan Group’s initiative ‘Yuva Vani’. Explaining the difference between love and passion, Priya’s poetry has brought a new wave in the era of modern writing.
Dehradun-born Priya Malik, who has been involved in literature and the stage since childhood, this Indian teacher of English literature, ten years after leaving Australia forever, returned to India and started performing her poems on stage in 2017. Through YouTube, her poems soon became famous in the Hindi poetry field and were invited to many TV channels and literature festivals. In programs like Jashn-e-Rekhta and Sahitya Aaj Tak, Priya enthralled everyone with the spirit of love, passion and became an inspiration to the young generation of writers.
Priya’s poems are that beautiful mix of Hindi, English and Urdu which has succeeded in bringing the trend of the young generation back towards poetry. In the last few years, she has worked in TV and films and has also written poems for many well-known brands.
