Gaurav S. Bajaj talks about his new show Janam Janam Ka Sath!

Janam Janam Ka Sath is a new family drama that recently went on air on Dangal TV. Interestingly, actor Gaurav S. Bajaj, who is a part of the show, plays a double role in it. He talks about his latest project, his character, his industry, and more.

“The title itself says a lot about the story. It is about the connection of past life and present life. This is a very beautiful show. There are many people I am connected within the industry, and I had worked with some of them twice or thrice before. So, working with them again on this show really feels amazing,” he adds.

Talking about his reincarnation in the show, Gaurav shares that he plays a King and a Prince. “The King’s time dates back to 70 years, and in the present, it is the role of a well-educated Prince of present times. The king is the grandfather to the prince. So the story goes like that I look like my grandfather who ruled a lot of villages in Rajasthan and now in the present I am a prince, who is taking care of his family heritage and taking the legacy forward. Somewhere I can relate to my character. Our style and dressing sense matches to an extent. I like his poise and grace. I am trying to make this yet another memorable experience for my audience,” he says.

The outdoor of Janam Janam Ka Sath has been shot in Jodhpur. “It was very much fun shooting there. We used to pack up early and have a gala dinner over famous chats available there at different locations. This food was enjoyed over many conversations and healthy laughter,” he adds.

Playing a lead is a lot of responsibility. Hence, Janam Janam Ka Sath is not going to be an easy journey. And, Gaurav shares that he enjoys playing such pivotal parts.

“Portraying such roles has become a routine and pattern of life and I really prefer to play lead parts because I enjoy taking responsibilities on my shoulder. I don’t see it as a pressure that can’t be handled. I take it as my responsibility,” he adds.

Content is the king. It defines the success of projects these days. “Content has always been and will always be the most important factor. At the same time, performance and execution also matters. I think it’s a joint effort that makes something work,” he says.

The best thing about daily soap, according to the actor, is that it helps one to stay connected with their own self. It also gives a person some sort of entertainment amid the daily grind.

The competition in the industry is increasing every day. “Competition has always been there, it’s just a little more visible to us now. I see it as the work that I love. My kind of competition means performing better with every new character,” he ends.
