Actor Rajniesh Duggall, who turned a year older today, is celebrating his birthday on the sets of his show Sanjog. Although, the actor is working this year on this birthday, he has an elaborate celebration planned ahead.
“This will be a back-to-back shooting birthday for me. I will be shooting and celebrating the day with my crew and cast on the set. And then, once I’m back home, we’ll be going for a nice dinner. The party is next week, when I have a holiday,” he says.
He adds, “I feel everyday should be memorable and every occasion should be celebrated. The last few years, we haven’t been able to do that. But yes, this year it will be a memorable one. Even though it will happen a few days later, but something interesting has been planned.”
Birthdays have always been significant for the actor. “For me it’s a very important day. I feel there’s an overall check of spirituality, growth and learning that one does one’s birthday. And, of course, it is a day to celebrate. I make sure that I do my bit of seva too on this day,” he says.
Talking about birthday gifts and rituals, he says, “I bought an early birthday gift this year; the Jeep Wrangler. I follow the ritual of waking up and going to the mandir and then feeding the cows. And during the day, I make sure that I serve food at a langar as seva.”
