Mehndi hai rachene wali is a love story of two people who hated each other. One a gangster and one widow both lonely in their lives. It’s a gripping story with new twist and turns in the journey of them finding love in each other.
In last week’s episode we saw, Pallavi is leaving for work, Sunny blocks her way. He says to her that he pity’s her how her husband isn’t talking to him and even though she is living in such luxury, she is leading a simple life. Pallavi calls Rajan and asks him if he gave dogs food today, when he says yes. She says maybe the door remained open and one entered their house. Sunny shouts at the comparison, she says she won’t compare him with dogs as they are loyal. He raises his hand on her, she tells him not to dare as he is living in her house and if her husband finds out he tried doing something like this he would kill him. Raghav enters his office disguised as a custom officer and tells Farhad that he himself is going to get his diamonds out from the custom. Sunny overhears him and tells Laxmi.
Raghav smuggles the pink diamonds from the custom office and informs Farhad that he is switching off his phone until he reaches home. An officer informs Laxmi that Raghav has gotten out the diamonds, she says that they will catch him in the check post on his way home. Pallavi stops Raghav a few miles earlier than the check post and tells Raghav that Laxmi is waiting to arrest him. They hear the police sireen, Raghav and Pallavi are together when a police car follows them and they reach a peak and can’t run. Laxmi shoots at Raghav, Pallavi stands in front of him and gets shot. Raghav throws sand in her eyes and takes Pallavi with him.
Farhad tells Raghav that Laxmi is outside, Raghav tells him to bring him change of clothes. Raghav goes outside and asks Laxmi why she is looking for him. Laxmi says to him that she is here to get the pink diamonds that he smuggled. He asks if she has any proof, she says his wounded wife and asks her officers to search the house. Raghav asks her if she has a search warrant when she says no, he asks her to leave his house and come when she has a warrant. Raghav asks the doctor about Pallavi’s health. The doctor tells him that he has taken out the bullet but if she doesn’t wake in the next 24 hours, she will go into a coma. Raghav in the hallway tells Farhad to send the pink diamonds through someone to the police station. He says he’ll bear any loss but he wants to gain back Pallavi and become the man she wants him to be.
Raghav goes in front of Pallavi and says to her that she should not leave him alone and return to him. Laxmi comes to the house and tells Raghav that she has brought the search warrant, she asks him to open the last door. He refuses to let them in, the police hold him back. She enters the room and finds it empty, even Raghav is shocked. He looks towards Farhad and by his gesture understands that he has hidden her. He says to Laxmi that this room has things he is attached to him. He asks his juniors to search the place, An inspector comes into the room and tells Laxmi that someone came to the police station and dropped the pink diamonds saying he found them somewhere. Raghav says to Laxmi to leave as she found the thing she came searching for.
Raghav stays the whole night on Pallavi’s bed side. Pallavi wakes up and the doctor tells Raghav that she can be shifted to the normal room as she has recovered and gained consciousness. Pallavi asks Raghav to come and sit near her and tells him why she feels that he has changed since she has woken up. He says that she was in bed because of him and he cannot ever forgive himself for that. Pallavi says that he is not the one to blame, Raghav says she doesn’t need to defend him, he knows that he was wrong but now he wants to become her man and has stopped all the illegal work. She thanks him for letting their love win. Raghav takes immense care of Pallavi for the next few days until she gets better.
Pallavi is emptying all of Raghav’s alcohol bottles. Raghav stops her from emptying any more bottles and tells her that he loves his whisky and her and can’t give up both, he picks her up and drops her outside the door and asks Farhad to enter only. Outside Pallavi says that he has compared her with alcohol and now she won’t stop until all of the bottles are thrown out. Raghav convinces Mr. Rao about buying the other 2 shops of his. Raghav returns back home and tells Pallavi that he’ll get a full body check up and if everything comes normal in it then she’ll not interfere in his drinking and if something comes abnormal in the report he’ll stop drinking. Pallavi says she’ll go and speak with the doctor who has come to check Kirti.
