At the beginning of the episode, Suresh sees Nima when he goes to fetch water. He thinks to himself that he’s happy that his Nima is living so close to his house. Tulika and Usha come there in haste to stop him from seeing Nima. He pretended that he didn’t know that Nima live’s close to their house.
At Nima’s work, she gives both Parth and Babita milk and almonds. The kids thank her. Maaji calls Nima and screams at her for giving Babita almonds. She tells Nima that Parth is the future of the house and she wants his growth, not Babita’s as her education is necessary until she is married. She tells Nima to keep her morden thoughts to herself as in her house her rules would prevail. She asks Nima to leave the job. Nima is leaving the house in disappointment, Maaji’s daughter-in-law stops her and tells her to not take Maaji’s words seriously. She tells her to keep her head down and do what she’s asked to do.
Tulika gets ready in front of the mirror. Usha asks her why she is getting so dressed. She tells her that she has been neglecting the way she looks since Varun was born. Usha asks him since Varun or since Nima? Tulika gets angry and tells Usha to not compare her with Nima, as she is better than her. Usha says that she is joking and she knows that she takes good care of Suresh.
At night, the electricity goes away from the whole block. Nima’s younger girl gets scared, but her older daughter Manya calms her down. Tulika tells Usha that she is going towards Nima’s house to trouble her a little as she won’t be recognized in the dark. Suresh sees Nima standing with a candle in her hand and moves towards her.
He holds her hand in the dark. He says that he is happy to know that she is staying so near to him. He says that he knows that Nima is angry with him now but he wasn’t to tell her that he loves her. The light comes back and Tulika turns towards Suresh. He becomes numb seeing her. Nima comes outside of her house. Tulika goes back towards her house and Suresh follows her.
Tulika starts packing her things to leave. Suresh tells that she is misunderstanding the situation. She asks him to then make her understand it. He says that Nima is upset with him that she doesn’t even want to see his face. Tulika says to him to not think that she is weak as she has her father’s house to go to and she’ll take Varun along. He tells her that he won’t be able to live without Varun.
Tulika asks him to promise that he’ll forget about Nima and only think of Varun and her. Suresh promises her that he’ll do what she asks for. After Tulika goes to her room. Usha asks Suresh to take leave from work and take Tulika out as she is Varun’s mother and to keep Varun close he needs to care for her as well. Usha warns him to forget about Nima or he’ll lose her as well along with Varun and Tulika.
