At the beginning of the episode, Devi scolds Anokhi for misbehaving with the guests. Anokhi tries to explain that they were saying Shaurya and she got married only because she was pregnant. Devi says so what, anyone would think the same way because of the haste in which the wedding happened. Shaurya says it is their personal matter and it is no-one’s right to comment on it. Tej tells Anokhi that even though she is educated, she cannot talk back to anyone and everyone. Anokhi says at times it necessary to answer back. Anokhi says they were questioning her family so she had to give her an answer. Alok says Anokhi is making stories to prove her point. Anokhi says he should call them to speak in front of them. She asks Shagun to confirm her part as she was also present there. Shagun stays quiet. Alok tell her not to drag Shagun in this. Anokhi says she might have listened to anything about herself, but she couldn’t listen anything against her family. Shaurya and Shaan support Anokhi but Tej says they do not know how to maintain relationships and he will have to apologise to them now.
Devi tells Shaurya that it is good to listen to your wife but he should not agree to every word Anokhi says. Shaurya says he knows Anokhi will never lie. He asks why Shagun is not saying anything. Shaan asks everyone to drop this and prepare for the reception. They go to their room.
Anokhi is happy. Shaurya comes as she is taking off her jewellery. Shaurya says they did not have any time to themselves yet. He tells her that she should not be worried about whatever happened that day. Anokhi says as long as he trusts her, she does not care about anything else. Shaurya and Anokhi spend some romantic time. Kanchan comes to help Anokhi get ready for reception.
Everyone gets ready in black for the reception. Shaurya tells Astha that she looks beautiful. Devi watches them. Kanchan teases him. Bebo and Kitty welcome Shagun and tell her she looks classy and elegant. Shagun asks Shaurya how she is looking but he tells her she looks nice. He looks at Anokhi at the back and says “simply beautiful”. Shaurya is mesmerised upon seeing her. Astha tells Anokhi is looking very beautiful.
Devi says Shaurya is crazy about Anokhi, but Tej says it is all because they are newly married and he will soon come to his senses. Shagun thinks Anokhi snatched it all from her as all this was hers. Alok tells Shagun he has a plan and tells her something.
Anokhi’s parents come to the reception. Devi sends Anokhi to meet other people. Ramesh complements Tej and Devi for the arrangements, so Tej says at least one function should be of their standard. Ramesh and Rama feel embarassed. Devi says it is not their fault as they have never seen such parties before. Devi says their parties are usually even grander but they did not want them to feel less so they kept this one smaller. Ahir says it does not matter how big the party is because their main purpose is to wish the bride and groom. Tej says they may not have had many items in the buffet before, and every plate costs as much as their 6 month electricity bill.
Shagun and Alok are planning something. Shaurya and Anokhi meet a guest. Shaurya tells Anokhi that she was a senior member from state education board. Anokhi says she received her award from her only when she topped her college. Anokhi is talking to her, when Devi comes.The lady asks Anokhi what her plans were for her studies after marriage, but Devi says there is no planning as now Anokhi is no more a student but Sabherwal bahu and that is the biggest degree. Anokhi is shocked to hear this.
