Anokhi is distraught that her exam date has been scheduled to the same day as her wedding. She thinks she must attend her exam as she will fail if she misses this and that means she will lose her scholarship. Rama and Babli are also worried. Rama thinks that they are back at the same juncture as before.
Bebo and Kitty are happy that sociology is not their subject. Shagun thinks she wants to see what Anokhi will choose between Shaurya and her studies. Shaurya is getting impatient at the “mandap” and everyone teases him.
Ramesh meets Tej and Tej asks him what he does. Ramesh tells him that he is a TT in railways. Devi asks Tej how come he is there and if he has accepted Anokhi as his “bahu”. Tej says he will never do that, but she must live according to their rules and should leave her stubbornness id she wants to be a Sabherwal daughter-in-law.
Anokhi thinks life makes them make difficult choices. Last time she was clear that her education was her priority, but this time she wants both. Rama warns Anokhi that noone will forget all this ever if she goes. Anokhi says she cannot miss her exam.
Bebo and Kitty crib about the decoration and set up. Gayatri scolds them and tells them to be happy in Shaurya’s happiness.
Rama and Babli bring Anokhi to the “mandap” . Anokhi is upset which Shaurya realises and asks her what happened. Anokhi bursts into tears as everyone watches. Shaurya asks her again, so she tells him about the exam date.
Shaan and Shaurya are surprised to know of the exam preponement. Anokhi apologises to Shaurya and says she will lose one year if she misses this exam. Shaurya tells Anokhi to not waste time and go for her exam. Devi says it is just an exam, but Shaurya defends Anokhi’s decision. Astha says how they will manage the time, but Shaurya and Shaan say that they can manage.
Shaurya asks Anokhi never to choose between him and her career. Anokhi has no time to change, so she goes dressed in bridal finery. Ramesh also supports her. Anokhi thanks Shaurya for his support.
Anokhi reaches the examination hall and writes her exam. Everyone watches her in a strange manner, so she says there is no reason why she cannot write her exam dressed as a bride.
Shaurya tells everyone not to worry. Shaurya wonders how the exams suddenly got preponed. He says it will be a huge inconvenience to the students and they must take it up in trustees meeting. Tej says there is no need for this. Shaurya understands that this was all Tej’s planning.
