Actress Sheela Sharma, who wil be playing the role of dadi in Prateek Sharma’s new show, Rabb Se Hai Dua, says that she loves the part. The actress hopes that the audience will enjoy her performance as well.
“I play the role of dadi in the show and I feel I am in my comfort zone. I am not that typical dadi, she is very sweet and nice and at the same time she likes to talk straight and to the point. She cares for the family and is the head of the family, everyone listens to her. I am so happy with the role and I hope I can do justice to it,” she says.
The actress adds that she was thrilled when she got the part. “I was very happy and elated when I was offered this role. The makers felt confident about me and knew that I would be able to play this role well. That makes me feel motivated to do better,” she says.
The show has a Muslim background, and the language can be challenging at times, admits Sheela. “Urdu is not very difficult, it’s like Hindi which we speak in our household except there are certain words that require to be pronounced carefully. I have an inclination towards Shero Shauri’s right from the beginning and I try to grasp the Urdu words in case I don’t know. I ask my husband also as he has good command over the language. Overall, I find it very exciting as it’s more like a challenge to myself,” she says.
