At the beginning of the episode, doctor checks Rakesh and says stress is not good for him as he had a heart attack a few days ago. He tell them to take care. Dadi asks Rakesh why he is stressed. Rakesh says he is realising that life has no guarantees and he worries what will happen to all of them if something happens to him. Dadi scolds him and tells him not to say such things. Sudha cries.
Ranveer follows Suhani’s taxi on his bike. He thinks Suhani did not accept his proposal. Suhani also thinks about it and feels sad.
Rakesh says what if he loses his job, then how he will afford Ishan’s studies and Suhani’s marriage. Dadi tells him not to worry as God always opens another door if one door closes. Rakesh says he is father of a daughter, so he always worries. He says people call him Hitler because he is strict with Suhani. Kammo says he understands his concern as she also has a daughter. She says he should get Suhani married.
Rakesh says where will he find a good boy for Suhani. Kammo says there was an alliance for Nikki but they refused because she is too young. She says she can talk to those people. Sudha says Suhani is still studying and becoming a doctor is her dream. Rakesh says he will not break Suhani’s dream and will look for a boy who will be supportive of Suhani’s dream. Sudha tries to say something but Dadi stops her. Suhani and Ranveer reach her house. Rakesh tells Sudha that he will find a boy for Suhani who will keep her very happy. Suhani is shocked to see Rakesh lying and asks what happened. She sits near Rakesh. Rakesh hugs her and says he is alright.
Kammo asks Suhani where she was till so late. She says doctor has said Rakesh is under a lot of stress and it can even prove fatal. Suhani tells them that there was felicitation of Ranveer but he was nowhere to be found, so they all were looking for him. Rakesh asks if Ranveer is okay. Suhani says sorry to Rakesh. Rakesh says he is fine.
Ranveer reaches home. Mamta asks where he was since last night and why he did not go for his felicitation. Ranveer says he was busy with Suhani and asks her not probe too much. Mamta is taken aback. Ranveer tells her that he told Suhani about his feelings for her and it was more important than his felicitation. Mamta worries about Vikrant.
Vikrant asks Mamta where Ranveer was. Mamta requests him to make promises which he will be able to fulfil. She tells that Ranveer loves Suhani dearly and he should cancel the deal. Vikrant says she does not know how to handle kitchen and she is advising him on business. He says he will never allow him to marry that girl from middle class family. Mamta asks what about Ranveer’s happiness but Vikrant says he must only marry Riya.
Ranveer calls Suhani at 9 o’clock. Kammo tells Suhani that there is no use of her studying medicine if she is the reason for his illness. Suhani feels guilty and does not pick up Ranveer’s call. Ranveer wonders if she is in some problem.
