This week, Ranveer comes to check on Suhani at her house. Dadi comes so he leaves. Vikrant tells Shashi to forgive Ranveer. He says Ranveer will only marry Riya. Shashi believes him and is about to sign the deal papers, but stops. He says he will only sign the deal when they get married. Vikrant agrees. Vikrant asks Rakesh for a list of people who are nearing retirement age as he wants to downsize. He tells Rakesh that he is free to take up another job, if he wants. Ranveer is missing from his felicitation ceremony. Raghu tells Suhani that there is a place where Ranveer goes whenever he is upset. Suhani goes to there look for him.
Suhani calls for Ranveer. lights starts getting illuminated in front of her and her name is written. Ranveer comes and expresses his feelings for her. He says she is the only one for him. He says she lives for her dream, but she is his dream. Suhani says she does not know how to thank him, as all this is a dream for her. She says she is grateful that he thought her to be deserving of his love, but she cannot accept his love. She says the only dream in her life is to be a doctor and she cannot break her mother’s dream to accept his love. Ranveer tells her that she need not give any explanations and he respects her decision. He says he just told her what was in his heart but she should only focus on her dream.
Rakesh faints at home due to stress at work. doctor checks Rakesh and says stress is not good for him as he had a heart attack a few days ago. Rakesh says what if he loses his job, then how he will afford Ishan’s studies and Suhani’s marriage. Kamini suggests an alliance for Suhani. Ranveer tells Mamta that he told Suhani about his feelings for her and it was more important than his felicitation. Kammo tells Suhani that there is no use of her studying medicine if she is the reason for his illness. Suhani feels guilty and does not pick up Ranveer’s call.
She ignores Ranveer’s call but thinks he will come home if she does not pick up. Ranveer asks her why she was not picking up the call. Rakesh takes the phone and tells him to call in the morning. John and Raghu ask Ranveer how he can be Suhani’s friend after she rejected him. Ranveer says he just shared his feelings with her and she shared her feelings that becoming a doctor is her priority and he will support her in this. Ansh tells Riya to support Ranveer to be close to him. Ranveer sees Vikrant’s photo in Ansh’s wallet. Ansh says Vikrant is his inspiration. Roshni and Vikram plan to convince Mamta to get Ranveer married to Riya. Suhani waits for her result impatiently. Kamini calls Suhani and asks her to come home urgently. Rakesh introduces Suhani to the guests and says his son Rohit is an engineer. Kamini tells them that she is first year MBBS student. They like Suhani a lot. Suhani is shocked.
Sudha tells Rakesh to think once more about it. Rakesh says she can continue her education after marriage as these people are modern and open-minded. Suhani says she always showed her one dream, but now she did not stop Rakesh. Sudha says she is not only a mother, but also a wife. Suhani comes to college but is disturbed thinking about what happened. She is felicitated for scoring record 99% marks in first semester. Sudha is overjoyed to hear Suhani’s result. Sudha and Suhani thank Ranveer for supporting her. Kamini comes and asks them to come for shopping. Suhani is shocked to see wedding preparations going on at home. Kamini says they are preparing for her ROKA the next day.
