In last week’s episodes, Abhimanyu dances for Akshu to distract her, while she doesn’t he asks her to forget about everything and smile. She says that before anything she today saw his anger today, he says to her that she can have her opinion about the situation but she still doesn’t know about Harshwardhan as well as he knows.
Manjuri asks everyone to join in for the rituals, Neil says that he wants to change the setup. Parth and he change the milk bowl to water and give Akshu and Abhimanyu chopsticks to play, Abhimanyu wins. While, Harshwardhan gets irritated by the noise and says to Mahima and Anand that his headache is coming back. Abhimanyu after winning says to everyone that he didn’t win and Akshu let him win.
Manjuri sends the staff with snacks for Anand, Harshvardhan and Mahima. Akshu says she wants to go instead, she overhears Harshwardhan saying that the music department will shut and instead IVF will begin. She gets emotional and comes down and sends the staff instead with the snacks. While the Goenka’s take leave, they show excitement to see the music department in working. Abhimanyu says to Manish and Suhasini that he will bring them there. Akshu thinks to herself why Harshwardhan, Anand and Mahima are telling everyone about the department closing.
Abhimanyu finds out about the music department being closed and gets angry. Harshwardhan and Abhimanyu get into an argument, Abhimanyu says that he had seen his mother’s dream being crushed and he won’t let that happen with Akshu. Akshu gets frustrated and says that it’s their decision if the department continues or not, but she won’t work in it. Harshwardhan says to Abhimanyu that he knows who’s capable and can handle things, and asks him to not doubt his judgement.
Abhimanyu gets disheartened and walks off to his room, he stops and holds Akshu’s hand and takes her with him. Akshu asks him to not be upset with her decision, she says sorry that she let him down in front of the family. He says to her that he isn’t upset with her decision, he says that he’s upset with the sacrifice she is making for the family’s happiness. Akshu says to Abhimanyu that she will practice outside and then with a reputation enter the Birla hospital, Abhimanyu gets happy.
Akshu falls asleep and Abhimanyu sits beside her and says to her that it’s better that she fell asleep as tomorrow is going to be a long day as he has a surprise planned for her. Abhimanyu says to Akshu that he only has one surgery today and he’ll be back home soon, she gives him a kiss on the cheek and bids bye. Akshu thinks to herself that the whole time Abhimanyu is gone and she’ll plan Harshwardhan and Manjuri’s anniversary.
Harshwardhan, Anand and Mahima arrive at home. Akshu comes there and says surprise to them, Harshwardhan stands shocked. Parth asks Neil if he knew that Akshu was planning this party, he says that if he had slightest idea he would have stopped her as he knows that this day isn’t celebrated in their house.
