Calling Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai! a landmark show, Deepesh Bhan says the fiction is a special feeling, a special experience that he is going to cherish forever. The actor plays the role of Malkhan in this Binaiferr Kohli and Sanjay Kohli production.
“The show has been on air for seven years and doing so well. There are no words to describe how we all feel and what success has done to us. We are happy with the name and fame it has given us and being able to entertain the audience. The whole of India knows us and that’s a great experience. The show has made us understand to stay happy, don’t stress thinking much about the future,” he says.
On how much he relates to his character, Deepesh adds, “In real life, I am not like Malkhan and have never harassed girls, I respect them. Neither have I passed any lewd comments or behaved badly with anyone. The things that I have not done in real life, I am doing them in reel life, because that is the character. That’s probably the reason why we aren’t the same at all.”
Deepesh also showers praises on the producer duo and their Edit 2 team. “I have been working with them for the last 16-17 years. I have done FIR, Bhoot, May I come in Madam?, and now Bhabhi Ji… I have done more than 3000 episodes with them. They treat me like family and hopefully you will be able to see me in their upcoming new shows as well. The maximum members of the team are old. They treat all of us well, as their family, take care of us and move forward taking us along with them. They are the best,” he says.
