At the beginning of the episode, Ayush gives Virendra oil massage and asks Rishi to start too. Rishi asks Lakshmi how much oil to use. Lakshmi says she will have to wash her hair if he uses oil. Rishi says he will just give a head massage without oil then. Rishi gives Lakshmi a head massage. Ayush and Virendra feel happy.
Virendra says he is feeling very sleepy. They go out. Lakshmi says Rishi can stop now. Rishi says he can continue and if he is doing ok. Lakshmi tells him that her father also used to give her head massage. Rishi asks Lakshmi if she misses her father a lot. Lakshmi says she misses him even more with him as he is a lot like him. She says this will be his first Diwali without her father. She says he used to put MIRCHI lights and take her help in putting them. Rishi says her father must be looking at her from wherever he is.
Lakshmi does all the arrangements for Diwali celebrations. Rishi brings lights and asks for Lakshmi’s help in putting them. Virendra and Ayush watch them. Lakshmi puts the lights with Rishi and thanks him. Rishi gets a call and goes away. Lakshmi makes rangoli. Karishma watches her and thinks Lakshmi will make this opulent bungalow into middle-class home.
Rano tells Neha that she is not able to do anything to get close to Ayush. She tells Neha to snare Ayush fast. Neha says she understood what she means. She asks Rano to prepare for her wedding.
Rishi comes distracted on his phone and spoils Lakshmi’s rangoli. Virendra scolds him. Rishi apologises to Lakshmi. Virendra tells Rishi to help Lakshmi in making rangoli. He scolds Lakshmi for not keeping Rishi in control. Rishi says he will make it. Virendra says he is watching him. Lakshmi cleans the spoilt rangoli. Rishi follows whatever she is doing. Lakshmi and Rishi make rangoli together. Lakshmi gets some color on her nose. Rishi wipes it. Karishma watches them.
Kiran comes and sees Rishi and Lakshmi together. Rishi gets upon seeing her. Rishi tells Kiran to come in. Kiran introduces herself. Lakshmi welcomes her and says Malishka is now her best friend and she is such a good girl. Karishma calls Kiran to her room. Karishma tells Kiran that Malishka is letting Lakshmi come closer to Rishi. Kiran says Malishka has gone somewhere. She says Lakshmi has something about her. Karishma tells her not to praise Lakshmi as she is fed up. Kiran says Malishka does not listen to anyone.
Lakshmi asks Rishi what happened as he looks worried. Rishi says he is thinking about some deal but cannot make a decision. Lakshmi tells him to leave everything on God. Rishi says she took away her tension. Kiran comes and says Malishka was right that they make a good pair. Neelam welcomes Kiran. Neelam says she is a family member. Neelam praises Lakshmi for the rangoli and also credits her for the arrangements. Kiran thinks that Karishma was right that Lakshmi is winning over Lakshmi. She goes.
Lakshmi slips and Rishi supports her. Rishi says he saved her. Sudeep laughs. Rishi scolds him and says they are a married couple.
