In this week’s episode we saw, Imlie says if she is sure that she can’t contact him herself then she shouldn’t be worried for Sundar. Arpita asks Imlie to shut up, and says Sundar is not just her friend but more than that. Arpita gets emotional after the confession and Imlie hugs her. Imlie asks Arpita to tell the same thing to the family. Arpita says the society won’t accept her love and will blame a widow. Arpita says she will marry the guy her family chooses, and leaves. Imlie thinks to herself that she can’t let Arpita lose a partner like Sundar.
Uday enters the house and ignores Narmada’s welcome. She asks Aryan if Arpita will like Uday as he ignored their welcome, Aryan says nothing will happen against Arpita’s wish. Uday prays in front of the God, He then says that his parents have taught him they should take God’s blessings after going to someone’s house. He then touches the feet of the elders, and Narmada gets happy.
Neela tells the family that Uday likes Arpita, and taunts that Imlie didn’t even make an appearance. Imlie enters the house and Aryan tells everyone that it wud him that locked her in the room, she says that by mistake. Imlie then suggests that Uday goes through some questions and cooking competition.
Aryan introduces Uday to Imlie, she has a flashback and screams at him. She says that he is the same guy who was talking badly to an old woman. Uday says that he talked badly to her and says he is apologetic, but he was angry as the woman was trying to steal his purse. Aryan says to Imlie that they can’t judge Uday on this one condition. Neela suggests Aryan also cooks for Imlie as she is the one who suggested this competition to check the compatibility.
Narmada tastes Uday’s dish and says that Arpita can’t taste it as she is spice tolerant. Imlie says that the cooking wasn’t about taste but compatibility and Uday had none with Arpita. Narmada agrees with Imlie and says the same compatibility was seen in Aryan and Imlie’s relationship.
Imlie switches the lights off at the engagement ceremony, she announces that if Uday has made a promise to his family that they will be here then they should be, and switches the light on and Uday gets worried. Uday says that he is not their son, while the old couple says that Uday wrecked their home and left them on the road. Imlie says things to Uday, he raises his hand on Imlie and Aryan stops and slaps Uday instead.
Next morning, the priest comes to fix Arpita’s wedding date. Neela says to Narmada it’s still time to think about the wedding and get a relationship for Arpita that suits Arpita. Imlie tells Narmada that she will perform the rituals from both the sides but she will tell him that she is doing this for Arpita. Sundar tells the family that he is applying at restaurants and hotels, he will alongside apply for the course in hotel management. Sundar’s mother comes there and creates a scene.
