At the beginning of the episode, Ranveer tells Vikrant that the media is waiting for him. Ranveer calls the media people inside. Vikrant is furious to see them. Ranveer says they are there to cover his favourite things which are his fake public image, ego and fake love for him. Vikrant says he is crossing his limits. Ranveer says he must listen to him now, when he tells the media what he did to Rakesh. Ranveer says if he is thinking how he will prove it to the media that he is responsible for Rakesh’s condition, he has Rakesh’s resignation letter.
Ranveer hands it over to Vikrant who crushes it in his hand. Ranveer says he will publicly disown Vikrant. Media people asks Ranveer to start the interview. Vikrant request him not to do so. Ranveer says he has made his choice. Ranveer is about to start the interview, when Vikrant intervenes and says he needs to speak to Ranveer and takes him aside.
Vikrant apologises to Rakesh with folded hands. Rakesh opens his eyes. Everyone is relieved. Rakesh tells Vikrant not to fold his hands in front of him. Vikrant tells Rakesh not to resign. Ranveer says he is a talented and dedicated man and their company needs him. Vikrant tells Rakesh to resume his office once he is completely alright. Dadu calls Ranveer to ask what to tell media people. Ranveer tells him to announce Vikrant will make a new hospital where poor people will treated for free.
Vikrant goes from there. Ansh follows him. Suhani asks Rakesh if he is alright. Cardiologist appreciates Ranveer for getting to the root cause of Rakesh’s problem. Ranveer says sometimes one needs to treat the mind rather than body. Doctor tells the family to thank Ranveer as he brought Rakesh there and also gave him primary care. Ranveer leaves from there. Dadi berates Kammo for misunderstanding Ranveer.
Mamta talks to Ranveer. Ranveer says she must be there to scold him as he insulted his father again. He says Suhani and her father were not at fault. Mamta says she knows it and she is proud of him that he stood up for a girl’s name. Mamta asks if she can talk to him about Suhani.
Rakesh comes home. Sudha and Suhani take care of him. Rakesh regrets that he slapped Sudha and apologises to her. Sudha says she has forgotten it already. Rakesh says a woman forgets everything for her family and people consider it her duty. He says he talks about values, but he hit his wife who is his life partner in every sense. He says he took out his anger on him which was unfair. He starts coughing while talking. Sudha gives him water and says even they were at fault as they defied him without finding the real reason of his decision. Rakesh tells her not to justify his mistake and forgive him.
Nikki tells Kammo that nothing is left for them now. Kammo tells her to pretend to be sad.They both pretend to cry. Rakesh calls Suhani near him. He says he got scared after Vikrant said all those things about her and lost his control. Dadi says truth cannot be hidden for long and it has been proven that Suhani is not at fault. Rakesh agrees and says Suhani can go to college without any worry now.
Mamta is thoughtful. Roshni asks her what she is thinking. Roshni says she feels Ranveer is very serious about Suhani. She says if Ranveer had married Riya, then their family bonds could have repaired but this girl will break the remaining bonds also.
Rakesh tells Suhani to take care of her family’s reputation. He says Ranveer did for them which even family does not do. Dadi tells Suhani to thank Ranveer on everyone’s behalf. Suhani remembers that she blamed Ranveer for Rakesh’s condition.
